Our Mission

To use our God-given abilities to help others in their time of need.

For over 16 years, founder and CEO Pat Thorpe, has answered the call— driven not by pay, but by purpose. Based in Texas and serving across a five-state region, our certified K9 handlers and search professionals provide specialized assistance in human remains detection, tracking, and recovery operations. Working alongside agencies such as the Texas Rangers and Texas Parks and Wildlife, we bring compassionate expertise to the most difficult missions: helping families find answers and peace.

K9 Detection Search & Rescue specializes in Human Remains Detection (HRD), Water Recovery, and Cold Case Searches. Our mission extends beyond recovery— we aim to bring clarity and closure to families who are waiting for answers.
